Chilkur Balaji Temple has organised many social related programmes in an effort to integrate various sects of Sanatana Dharma.
As a part of Bhishma Ekadashi celebrations Vishnusahasranama recitation was solemnly organised in Tilak Nagar Hyderabad, along with traditional Gangaputrulu fishermen association on Tuesday.The programme was organised under the auspices of Ganga Gauriswara Bhajan Mandali Tilak Nagar Gangaputra Sangam.
Chilukur Balaji Temple chief priest and convener of Temples Preservation Movement (TPM), CS Rangarajan conveyed the greatness of Bhishma Pitamaha and called upon elders not to allow disruption and disintegration of Sanatana Dharma.
He also said that Bhishma is a Gangaputra and all traditional fishermen are Gangaputras. The elders of the community expressed their happiness about these programs and expressed their gratitude to  the Rangarajan team for organizing such programmes.
