Chinta Mohan wants Tirupati to be made capital

Must read

Former Union minister and Congress senior leader Chinta Mohan has claimed that the Congress is regaining its past glory with the joining of YS Sharmila.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, he said that the people of the State wish to see YS Sharmila as the Chief Minister of the State.
He found fault with YS Subba Reddy for his comment that Hyderabad should be the joint capital city of AP and TS. He questioned the YSRCP government about what happened to the three capital cities concept.
“Naidu has given up the right of joint capital city of Hyderabad for 10 years due to political reasons. Naidu announced Amaravati region as the capital city of AP. YSRCP projected Visakhapatnam as the executive capital for the sake of their lands. Then the Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru proposed to make Tirupati as Capital of AP but on the advice of Damodaram Sanjeevaiah, Kurnool was made capital of AP,” he recalled.
Chinta Mohan questioned Union Home Minister Amit Shah about what was necessary to meet Chandrababu Naidu after midnight.
Chinta Mohan felt that film actor Chiranjeevi should return to politics. “This is the right time for Chiranjeevi to become Chief Minister of the State,” he said and urged Chiranjeevi to contest from Tirupati in the ensuing elections. He predicted that the ruling YSRCP could hardly win 10 seats.
