Mega Star of Telugu Cinema, Chiranjeevi is landed in a controversy. The actor was the chief guest for ‘Brahma Anandam’ film pre-release event. Though he made comments in a lighter vein, those landed him in a big controversy. In the film Brahmanandam and his real son Raj Gowtham are playing the roles of a grandfather and grandson. Relating to this, they showed pictures of Chiranjeevi along with his granddaughters and asked him to comment. He said, “When I am at home with my granddaughters, it is like a ladies hostel, surrounded by many ladies and I am like a warden,” said Chiranjeevi.
The actor didn’t stop at that and added, “I am telling Charan next time to have a son, so that the legacy continues. But I am afraid he may have another daughter.” He ended up by saying ‘Lovely kids’. Though Chiranjeevi said it in a very light-hearted way, his comments landed him in a big controversy about his ‘sexist’ remarks. Many people reacted to his comment and said a girl also can carry on his legacy.
Not about it, his other comment about his grandfather also became viral. When his grandfather’s photo flashes on the screen and Chiranjeevi says, “He is my mother’s father Radhakrishna Naidu. He is from Nellore, but settled in Mogaltur and retired as Excise Inspector. You can get any other person’s similarities, but not him. Because he is a romantic person. I officially had two grandmothers, and when he was not in a good mood, he went to a third woman. I don’t know there may be a fourth and a fifth woman also,” he said about his grandfather.
This is the second time that Chiranjeevi attended a film event as a special guest, just one day before he attended ‘Laila’ pre-release event and then ‘Brahma Anandam’ event. At the same stage, he clarified that he doesn’t want to enter politics again. “I will stay away from politics all my life and I decided to stay in the cinema. There may be doubts that I am meeting many people. So people may doubt, but I am meeting them to do social service,” said Chiranjeevi about his political entry. He also added that his younger brother Pawan Kalyan is there to serve people and he will fulfill his vision and mission.
