Telangana Director of Public Health Dr G Srinivas Rao virtually raised hell on Wednesday by introducing religion in his official statement and suggesting that the Covid-19 pandemic has decreased “due to the grace of Jesus Christ”.
Dr Srinivas Rao made the statement in question while participating in Semi Christmas celebrations in Badradri Kothagudem, where health camps are being organized in the name of GSR Trust.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr Srinivas said that Christianity taught development for human survival. Going further, he said that Christianity was the reason for the country’s development.
Raising eyebrows, Dr Srinivas said “due to the grace of Jesus Christ, the corona virus has decreased”.Earlier, he was embroiled in a controversy after he had resorted to some occult practices. He had also performed rounds around the TRS MPP who claimed to be a Goddess. Recently, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao launched eight new medical colleges in the state online from Pragati Bhavan.Dr Srinivas, who attended the programme, touched KCR’s feet twice within a minute.
