The city is gearing up for Suraksha Day on June 4, The three Commissionerates will patrol the Necklace Road as part of the initiative.
The patrolling exercise will be conducted from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Blue Colts, patrol cars and interceptors will demonstrate their functioning during the rally. The Rachakonda commissionerate will conduct a canine show and demonstrate response to Dial 100 or emergency calls.
A mega rally led by the Commissioner of Police DS Chauhan, LB Nagar MLA D Sudheer Reddy and Uppal MLA B Subhash Reddy will be held from LB Nagar camp office to DSL Virtue Mall, Uppal. It will comprise mounted horses, motorcycles, Blue Colts, patrol cars, interceptors, vajras, She Teams and tableaux.
The Rachakonda police will also organise events at DSL Virtue Mall showcasing the work done by the force. A human chain replicating Rachakonda will be formed at the mall.
Similarly, the Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Services Department will be part of the rally at the Ambedkar Statue on Sunday in collaboration with the Police & Prison Department.
The exhibition will be held from 12 to 7 pm near the Ambedkar statue at Tank Bund.
