City girl wins bronze in CBSE boxing tourney

Jesvitha Rose Tantepudi, a Class X student of Ambitus World School in Vijayawada, has won the bronze medal in the CBSE Schools’ Boxing Championship held at the Rishikul Vidhyapeet in Haryana. She participated in the 75+ kg weight category and won the medal.

Jesvitha Rose was the only participant from Andhra Pradesh in her weight category. She reached the semi-final and lost the fight.

Ambitus World School Principal Edupuganti Manasa felicitated Jesvitha Rose on Thursday.
