City students selected for National level competition

Vijayawada students excelled and won the state level competition and entered the National level competition on Wednesday. National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) organized an essay writing competition on ‘Power Saving’ and the students of Art Mate of Vijayawada excelled and were selected for the National level competition according to the school principal.

In the seniors category Varika Vardhini secured first place and won Rs 50,000 prize money. In the juniors category ML Shresta secured second place and won Rs 30,000 prize money. In seniors category K Venkat Anushka and in juniors category K Srinidhi won consolation prizes of Rs 7,500 each. They will compete at the National level on December 12, he added.
