After offering prayers at Alarmelu Mangapuram in Tiruchanoor, Chief Justice of India Justice DY Chandrachud, along with the members of his family, offered prayers at Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple on Wednesday evening.
On his arrival, he was received by TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy and EO (FAC) Anil Kumar Singhal at the main entrance of the temple.
Later, he offered prayers to Dhwajasthambham and had darshan of the presiding deity Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy.
After darshan, the temple Archakas rendered Vedaseervachanam and the Chief Justice was offered prasadams by the TTD Chairman and EO.
Later, the CJI also performed Gopuja to the cow and calf on the temple premises and fed the bovine with fodder. District Judge Veer Raju, CVSO Narasimha Kishore, Additional SP Kulasekhar, Spl Gr DyEO Varalakshmi, VGO Manohar and others were also present.
