Tragic incident in Nagarkurnool

In a tragic incident, a Class 7 girl student of the Social Welfare School at Mannanur hanged herself to death in her classroom. She was identified as Nikhita.
The school is situated in Mannanur in Amrabad Mandal. She hailed from Vankeswaram village. The girl reportedly went to her room in the hostel and returned to the classroom. She hanged herself from the ceiling fan using her chunni.
The school’s authorities sent a message to the girl’s parents.
A series of suicides by students in recent times has triggered anxiety among parents.
