The Standing Committee of Academic Senate of Osmania University has approved a request of the students, parents and colleges of UG, PG to appear for backlog and project dissertation.
The press release said, “It is hereby informed to all the concerned that the Standing Committee of Academic Senate of Osmania University in its letter dated November 14, has approved request of the students, parents and colleges of UG, PG and professional programmes for all faculities to permit them to appear for backlog papers and project dissertation.
After the stipulated period as a ‘One Time Chance’ for completing their programmes to those who were admitted between academic year 2010 to 2017, with a penal fee of Rs 10,000 per paper and for M E, M Tech, Project Viva, Dissertation with a penal fee of Rs 20,000.” Further the note added that as per the decision of Standing Committee of Academic Senate, the students of UG, PG and professional programmes are permitted to clear their backlog papers after the stipulated period by appearing in the ensuing examinations of the programme concerned.
The notification for the examinations will be issued in due course of time. The issued notifications will be made available on the Osmania University website from time to time.
