TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu, has said that while he had successfully implemented numerous groundbreaking initiatives in the power sector, the current Chief Minister, Jagan, is burdening the public by significantly increasing power charges. He noted that power charges have been revised seven times in the past four years alone, causing immense financial strain on the people.
Naidu questioned the need to purchase power from the market at Rs 10 per unit and attributed the price hike and revenue decline to the inefficiency of the Chief Minister.
Addressing the TDP general body meeting on Monday, Naidu highlighted the success of the “Badude Badudu” programme in exposing the oppressive regime of the YSRCP and urged party leaders and activists to remain closely connected with the people.
The TDP chief expressed concern over the targeting of individuals who raise their voice against the government.
Once if one acre was sold in Andhra, four acres could be purchased in Telangana. Now, if one acre is sold in Telangana, 50 to 100 acres can be bought in Andhra. Due to Jagan the value of land has decreased and the cost of registration has increased. Nobody can speak freely in AP nowadays.
