The government has partnered with Easy Mart to supply affordable and quality daily essentials to women’s self-help groups. During the event, women were trained to purchase these items online through Easy Mart. When the Chief Minister inquired about the marts’ operations, officials informed him that they were functional in the Kuppam area, with plans for expansion across the Tirupati district. Later, the CM distributed subsidised electric autos to 15 women for self-employment, highlighting that these vehicles could save up to Rs 12,000 monthly on fuel costs.
An agreement was also signed with the Care and Grow organisation to enhance the physical, mental, and behavioural development of children at Anganwadi centres. Initially, this programme will be implemented in eight centres in the Naravaripalle region. The Chief Minister noted that the initiative has been well-received, with children, mothers, and Anganwadi teachers expressing satisfaction.
From Naravaripalle, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for multiple development projects. In Rangampeta of Chandragiri Mandal, he launched a Rs 1.10 crore District Council High School with digital classrooms.
Cement roads, costing Rs 3.2 crore, were also inaugurated in Kandukuruvaripalli, Chinnarampapuram, and A Rangampeta villages. Additionally, a Rs 4.27 crore power substation was launched in Naravaripalle.
The CM emphasised the importance of promoting solar rooftop policies and urged officials to create awareness among the public. He mentioned that the government offers a 100% subsidy for SC and ST communities to set up solar panels, while others can avail a Rs 60,000 subsidy for a 2-kilowatt system, with the balance recoverable through grid connections within five years.
As part of the micro-irrigation scheme, the CM distributed drip irrigation systems and sprinklers to farmers in Tirupati district. The materials were loaded onto trucks, and the Chief Minister flagged off the distribution initiative.
