Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the election campaign has ended and that he will focus on governance from now on.
The CM said he would raise money by setting up a ‘Farmers Welfare Corporation’ and implement the loan waiver scheme. He made it clear that he would waive farm loans in one go.
He said the government will convene a State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) meeting and will give a guarantee for farmers’ loans. The CM said the government will take loans under the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) Act to fund the loan waiver scheme.
The CM said he doesn’t care about criticism by the opposition and that the opposition had criticised the Congress government for not giving Rythu Bandhu funds in full. However, the opposition is now taking credit for the government

depositing the full Rythu Bandhu money in the bank accounts of farmers, he added.
During a chit-chat with journos on Tuesday at his residence, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the government will decide on the Dharani Portal after a discussion in the Assembly and studying the suggestions of the Dharani Committee.
He said the government will discuss farmers’ issues by convening an all-party meeting.
The CM said that he will convene meetings to review the waiver of farm loans, and distribution of superfine rice, books, notebooks, uniforms etc as the academic year will start soon.
He said the government will concentrate on crop investment (Rythu Bharosa scheme) and Minimum Support Price (MSP) issues. He said the government would supply more essentials at low prices and provide superfine rice to the public through ration shops.
The CM said the government will purchase nine items from farmers and distribute them to the public through ration shops. The government will examine what goods can be supplied like this.
He said the government will implement what the state needs and ensure that farmers do not face any problems.
The CM made it clear that the government would not keep quiet if millers did injustice to farmers while buying paddy.
