Superintendent of police Malika Garg on Wednesday reviewed the security arrangements being made for the Chief Minister’s visit here on Wednesday. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit Darsi on December 15 to attend the marriage reception of MLA Maddishetti Venugopal to be held in Darsi town. SP Malika Garg inspected the arrangements being made at the reception centre. She saw the erection of barricades, parking slots, and the CP’s convoy route in Darsi.
She also inspected the reception venue located at Kurichedu road and the helipad area. She made some suggestions to the police officials regarding security arrangements.SP Malika Garg instructed the officials to make foolproof arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit. She also directed the officials to take steps to regulate vehicular traffic and divert the vehicles during the Chief Minister’s visit. Additional SP (Admin) K Nageswara Rao, DSP Narayana Swamy Reddy, DSB DSP B Mariyadas and Darsi CI Rama Kotaiah were those who accompanied the SP.
