CM opens a slew of projects in Kadapa

State Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday launched several development programmes at the Chitravathi Balancing Reservoir near Parnapalli village in Lingala mandal. He inaugurated the Lake View Restaurant and Park built at a cost of Rs 4.1 crore and the boating and jetties built at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore to attract tourists under the auspices of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department.

It includes a pontoon boat (15 capacity), deluxe boat (22 capacity), 6-seater speed boat, 4-seater speed boat. Also, state disaster rescue (SDR) boat, fire service boats and life jackets have been made available for the safety of tourists.

CM Jagan unveiled the statue of late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The beauty of the reservoir can be seen from the lake viewpoint. First, the Chief Minister took a short stroll in a pontoon boat in Chitravathi Reservoir. He saw the natural beauty of Chitravati Lake View.

Along with the Chief Minister, District In-charge Minister Adimulapu Suresh, State Minorities Minister Amjad Basha, Kadapa Parliament Member Avinash Reddy, District Collector V Vijay Ramaraju, SP Ambu Rajan, CM Secretary Dhanunjaya Reddy, OSD CMO Krishnamohan Reddy, Tourism MD Kannababu, P Anil Kumar Reddy, Dharmavaram MLA Kethireddy Venkatarami Reddy and others were present.
