Addressing a meeting of Collectors at the Secretariat on Friday, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed concern over the frequent food poisoning incidents in government schools and residential schools, it is learnt.
The Chief Minister asked the Collectors why food poisoning incidents are taking place even after increasing the diet and cosmetic charges, it is learnt. He said the government is getting a bad name due to the frequent food poisoning incidents.
It is learnt that the Chief Minister said that these incidents are occurring as Collectors are not visiting residential schools. It is learnt that the CM asked Collectors to visit residential schools every week and submit reports. It is learnt that the Chief Minister also expressed unhappiness at Collectors regarding the Indiramma Indla Survey. The CM said that some officials are not monitoring the Indiramma Indla Survey and that it had come to his notice. He asked Collectors to make themselves available to the public and warned that action would be taken if anyone is found to be negligent, it is learnt.
