Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy instructed the officials to provide assistance to Salima, who is bed ridden due to burn injuries. The officials have been asked to provide immediate medical treatment, pension under differently abled category and Indiramma house to the poor family. Since Salima is not in a position to cook food, the Chief Minister also asked the authorities to make necessary arrangements to feed her regularly.
CM Revanth Reddy responded to a news article on the plight of Salima, a resident of Gundlasingaram village of Nutankal mandal in Suryapet district. On the CM’s instructions, CM OSD Vemula Srinivasulu spoke to the Suryapet District Collector and inquired about the woman’s health condition. Salima’s nervous system has been damaged due to burn injuries and she is confined to bed.
Her 10 year old daughter Rizwana is taking care of Salima. Astonishing all, ailing Salima’s daughter is also going to school while taking care of her mother.
