CM seeks Centre’s help to promote ‘Telangana Rising’

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy appealed to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar to support the Telangana Government’s programmes to bring Telangana to the top in the next 25 years.
The Chief Minister met the External Affairs Minister in New Delhi on Thursday. The CM briefed Jaishankar about international events like the Miss World contest, the Global Deep Tech Summit, the Bharat Summit, Animation Gaming, VFX, as well as India Joy which showcases Telangana as the hub of the entertainment industry. These events are being organised in Hyderabad in 2025.
The CM requested the External Affairs Minister to support the TG government and promote ‘Telangana Rising’ by organising international events in the state. The Chief Minister also requested Jaishankar to promote ‘Telangana Rising’ in India’s programmes abroad and extend cooperation in diplomatic relations and logistical assistance to make programmes organised in Hyderabad a success.

The External Affairs Minister praised Revanth and said that Telangana is among the fast developing states and assured his cooperation in organising big international events in Hyderabad.

Former External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid, Nagarkurnool and Bhuvanagiri Lok Sabha MPs Dr Mallu Ravi and CH Kiran Kumar Reddy and Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav were also present.
