Meets Rajnath asks for renewal of permission for Warangal Sainik School: CM
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy appealed to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to transfer 2,500 acres of Defence land to the Telangana Government for widening roads and other infrastructure development projects in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister called on Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Monday.
The CM brought to the notice of the Defence Minister the utilization of 2,462 acres owned by the state government for the Imarat Research Centre (RCI) at Ravirala village. As the Defence Department is using state lands for RCI, the CM requested Rajnath to transfer 2,450 acres for the construction of roads and flyovers in Hyderabad as well as surrounding areas.
The CM appealed to the Defence Minister to accept the mutual transfer of lands between the TG admin and the Defence Department.
