Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will participate in the housewarming ceremony to be organised on the occasion of completion of five lakh houses at Samalkot in the last week of August.
District Collector Kruthika Shukla said that housing Corporation chairman Davuluri Dorababu, Housing construction department special chief secretary Ajay Jain, MD G Lakshmisha and SP S Satish Kumar visited the Jagananna layout on Friday. They also reviewed the arrangements being made for the Chief Minister’s programme.
The officials visited the house of Bobbara Padma at the layout on the occasion. They also inspected the venue for the public meeting. They also inspected the helipad area located at G Ragampet road.
The Collector told the media that steps were taken to complete the construction of all houses before the Chief Minister’s programme, adding that drinking water connection is being given to every house in the colony besides street lights were installed.
The road construction works in the colony would be completed expeditiously, the Collect stated.
