Collector makes surprise visit to govt hostel

District Collector Hanumant K Zendage has directed the officials to take special care of the students in the welfare hostels.
On Friday, the Collector made a surprise visit to the Janampally residential girls’ school in Ramannapet mandal. He enquired about the staff and checked the attendance register. Later, he interacted with the students and enquired about the facilities being provided to them in the hostel.
He checked the washrooms, toilets, toilets and kitchen of the hostel. He warned the hostel staff against laxity.
On the occasion, the District Collector had lunch with the hostel students.
