Collector: Prepare expenditure  accounts of contestants pending audit

District Collector V Prasanna Venkatesh directed the Returning Officers to prepare the details of election expenditure of contestants as election expenditure auditors are coming to the district. The Collector held a meeting with the Returning Officers and other officials here on Wednesday and reviewed various issues regarding expenditure of contestants. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the final accounts of the election expenditure of each candidate, who contested in the elections, should be submitted to the Expenditure auditors accurately. “The expenditure auditors will come to the district this month and they examine the final accounts of the candidates of their election expenditure. In view of the fact that the candidates have to complete the accounts on their election expenditure and accurate information should be provided to auditors,” the Collector told them.
Joint Collector B Lavanya Veni, ITDA PO M Suryateja, DRO D Pushmani and ROs NSK Khajavali, Y Bhavani Shankari, K Bhaskar and AO K Kashivisweswar Rao were among those who attended the meeting.
