Collector, SP, Chief Whip inspect steps for CM’s visit

District Collector P Prashanthi, Chief Whip Grandhi Srinivas and SP U Ravi Prakash inspected the arrangements being made for the programme of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Chief Minister’s programme coordinator and MLC Talashila Raghuram, the Collector, the SP, and the Whip visited the venue of the public meeting and the helipad and inspected the ongoing arrangements on Thursday. They made some suggestions to the officials in this regard.
They inspected the layout located near Vishnu College and decided to set up a helipad on the premises of Lutheran High School.
The public meeting will be held on the layout located adjacent to Grandhi Venkateswara Rao Junior College on the bypass road. A trail run was conducted with a private bus from the helipad to a public meeting venue. The Collector ordered the municipal commissioner to take steps to clean the area around the Lutheran high school.
The Collector, SP, and coordinator held a meeting with the officials and reviewed the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s programme.
The Collector directed the officials to complete the construction of the helipad and the barricading at the earliest. Coordinator Raghuram directed the officials not to remove plants on either side of the road. The shops should not be closed during the Chief Minister’s programme, he told them. State Kyathriya Corporation chairman P Srinivasa Raju, DRO B Shivannarayana Reddy, RDO K Srinivasulu Raju, R&B officer B Lokeswara Rao, and other officials were among those who accompanied the Collector and the SP.
