District Collector V Prasanna Venkatesh underlined the need to conserve electricity as it would benefit all financially. The Collector flagged off a rally taken out on the occasion of national energy conservation week here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion he said that it is very important to use energy sources economically and efficiently as per requirement.
The Collector said from December 14 th to 20 th, as per the orders of the state government, the energy saving week would be organized by the electricity department. Prasanna Venkatesh said that saving electricity is the responsibility of all. The state and Central governments are organizing energy conservation weeks in coordination. APEPDCL SE Salman Raju also spoke.
