Chief Minister Revanth Reddy clarified that the welfare of the poor and the state development are the ‘two eyes’ of the People’s Government. The Chief Minister asserted that the responsibility of instilling trust among people in the government lies with the District Collectors who are the real representatives of the government at the ground level.
“Collectors play a decisive role in enhancing the IMAGE of the  government,” The CM said, congratulating  the collectors of all districts for successfully completing the socio-economic, educational, employment, political, and caste census survey which has been undertaken by the government recently. Revanth emphasized that it is the only collector who reached the scheme benefits at the people’s door steps and their performance is the measurement of the government’s achievement.
Suggesting THAT collectors improve their performance from time to time, the CM reminded  some collectors confined to  their offices and now they should go on field trips. The Chief Minister warned that problems should be dealt with effectively when they arise.
Announcing that he will embark on district tours after January 26, the CM said he will also conduct surprise visits and warned of strict action if officials are found neglecting their duties in the government system. The collectors have also been asked to alert the field level officers.
