Compassionate appointment draws MLC Kavitha’s flak

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha said that the government is cheating the youth of Telangana by giving jobs to the people of Andhra Pradesh. Notices of adjournment motion have been served in the Legislative Council against the appointment of a person from the Andhra region in the municipal department under the compassionate appointment.
She said that the youth had participated in the Telangana agitation with the intention of getting jobs. But the current government is appointing the Andhra region people in the State.
The government has issued an order that Ramireddy’s son Raghunath Reddy, who worked as a subordinate officer in the municipal and urban development department, was appointed under compassionate appointment. He studied in Kurnool district. So, the locality would be Andhra Pradesh.
