Complete land acquisition: Pravin Prakash

State R&B Principal Secretary Pravin Prakash has directed the officials to complete the land acquisition for the construction of the Bangalore-Kadapa-Vijayawada greenfield highway (544-G) expeditiously. Pravin Prakash visited the forest area at Chandrasekharapuram village and the Bhairavakonda reserve forest area in Uppalapadu village limits on Friday.

The representatives of the project consultancy RV Associates accompanied him on the occasion. Praveen Prakash, who inspected the reserve forest area, directed the officials concerned to formulate appropriate proposals and take steps to get the necessary forest department permissions and pollution control board permissions for the speedy completion of this project.

He told the officials that the government is going to make the highway available to reduce the travel time between Vijayawada and Bengaluru from 13 hours to seven hours through access control.

He directed the officials concerned to ensure that the estimates for the electrification of the highway and the construction of bridges over the canals, where necessary, are prepared expeditiously. Collector Dinesh Kumar explained the steps being taken in this direction to Praveen Prakash who expressed satisfaction over the steps being taken by the district administration. Joint Collector Abhisekt Kishore, RDO Sandeep Kumar, land acquisition special officer Nagabhasanam, and R7B officer SE Vijaya Ratnam were among those who accompanied Pravin Prakash.
