192 projects costing Rs.154.24 are progressing
Officials should strive to complete the projects with the funds sanctioned by the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) under the National Bank for Agricultural Bank and Rural Development (NABARD) in NTR district, said Collector Dr S Dilli Rao. Under this scheme, Rs.188.39 crore was sanctioned for 192 projects, he said.
Dilli Rao convened the District-Level Monitoring Committee meeting on the NABARD’s RIDF works at his office in Vijayawada on Wednesday. He reviewed all works and their status as of now and enquired about the details of the projects.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that around Rs.154.24 crore worth of works were allotted to the respective agencies out of sanctioned Rs.188.39 crore. Of them, one project was allotted to the AP Residential Education Institutions worth Rs.84 lakh, eight projects to the Animal Husbandry Department worth Rs.1.12 crore, five projects to the Irrigation Development Corporation worth Rs.56.94 crore, and three projects to the Intermediate Education worth Rs.97.41 lakh, he said.
Similarly, Rs.2.62-crore worth four projects were allotted to the Agricultural department. Also, four projects of Rs.3.55 crore under the Panchayat Raj Department, Rs.11.13-crore worth five projects to the Health Department, Rs.4.02 crore worth three projects to the R&B, Rs.7.82 crore worth of two projects to the Rural Water Supply Department, he added. Subsequently, he informed the officials that Rs.4.89 crore worth of works were allotted to the Tribal Welfare, Rs.56.36 crore to Samagra Siksha, and Rs.3.92 crore was allotted to the Women and Child Welfare, he said.
NABARD AGM Milind Chowsalkar, Krishna ZP CEO Jyothi Basu, R&B SE John Moshe, DEO CV Renuka, ICDS PD G Uma Devi, Agricultural Officer S Naga Manemma, Tribal Welfare Officer M Rukmangadaya and Panchayat Raj SE A Venkateswara Rao were present.
