Cong activists oppose induction of Indrakaran Reddy into party

Congress activists staged a protest near Telangana Talli statue in Lakshman Chanda mandal on Tuesday following reports that former minister A Indrakaran Reddy may join the Congress. The Congress activists demanded that the party should not allow BRS leaders to migrate to the ruling party.
The Congress leaders alleged that Indrakaran Reddy had grabbed land in Nirmal constituency when he was the minister in the BRS government. They took Indrakaran Reddy to task for switching parties.
The activists alleged that the former minister wanted to join Congress party to protect his ill-gotten wealth. They urged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Panchayat Raj Minister Sitakka and DCC president Srihari Rao not to induct Indrakaran Reddy into the Congress party.
