Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the Congress is ready to distribute Rs 10,000 for every vote in Karnataka and that the money was sent by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
Sanjay said that KCR is now visiting Maharashtra although elections are going on in Karnataka. Sanjay ridiculed KCR saying that KCR may go to Pakistan if elections are held in India.
He told voters that there would only be bars and beers if they ensured the victory of the Congress or the Communists.
He urged voters to vote for the ‘Lotus’ if they want funds and asked them to decide whether they want leaders who share their pains or leaders who just give money. He said that the Congress will meet its end in the Karnataka elections.
Addressing campaign rallies in Karnataka on Thursday, Sanjay said the Congress is ready to distribute Rs 10,000 per vote and that the money was sent by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
Sanjay campaigned in Gauribidanur and Bagepalli along with BJP Secretary CT Ravi and Bagepally BJP candidate Muniraju.
Later, speaking to the media, Sanjay asked Karnataka voters not to accept any amount less than Rs 10,000 from the Congress and then vote for the BJP.
Sanjay said, “KCR is an intelligent leader. He gave money to JDS recently. However, KCR is now giving money to the Congress as he knows that the JDS will not come to power. KCR is not even answering the phone calls of Kumaraswamy and is now supporting the Congress.”
He said that voting for the Congress is nothing but dumping it in the drainage canal. He said that the Congress will increase reservations for Muslims and reduce the reservations of SCs, STs. He said the BJP is the party that scrapped reservations for Muslims and increased reservations for SCs from 15 per cent to 17 per cent and reservations for STs from five per cent to seven per cent.
