Congress leader Bakka Judson submitted a memorandum to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan asking her to dismiss Excise Minister V. Srinivas Goud from the Cabinet for making insulting comments about Dalits and Mudirajs on May 6 at the Divitipalle village in Mahbubnagar district.
Judson said that Srinivas Goud while addressing the gathering during the foundation stone laying ceremony of Amara Raja’s Lithium Ion Battery unit attended by IT Minister KT Ramarao, insulted Dalits by calling them ‘third class’ people.
He said that he had filed a complaint on May 12 with National SC Commission Director Dr Sunil Kumar. He said that the NSCC immediately issued a notice to the DGP.
Judson said that he had submitted a petition to the Governor seeking the removal of Minister Srinivas Goud from the Cabinet.
He said that he had attached the documents of Srinivas Goud, who was imprisoned at the Cherlapally jail for eight days in an ACB case. Judson asked why a person who was in jail from November 9, 2005, to November 16, 2005, was not dismissed.
Judson said that Srinivas Goud had insulted the Mudiraj community too earlier. He said that Srinivas Goud was also suppressing Kaundinya Gouds.
He said that it is a shame to have such a person as a minister in KCR’s cabinet. Srinivas Goud is holding the Minister post by blackmailing IT Minister KT Ramarao, he said.
Congress leaders Aitha Giribabu, Pandu Ranga Reddy and others attended the programme.
