‘Cong government will usher in a new era of growth’

Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy presented silk clothes to Goddess Renuka Yellamma on behalf of the Government of Telangana at Dharvesipuram village in Nalgonda district in connection with the Kalyanotsavam of the deity on Sunday.
He prayed to the deity bestow divine blessing on people in the State. He sought the blessing of deity to ensure that the people lead a prosperous life.
In connection with the visit of the Minister, the temple priests and Kalyanotsavam celebration committee members offered traditional welcome to the Minister and his spouse with PurnaKumbham.
As part of the festivities, the couple performed the Kalyanam of the deity and offered free food too all the devotees who attended the celebrations.
Later, addressing the gathering, he said that he prayed to the deity to bestow its divine blessing on the State and ensure that the State receive bountiful rains.  
He said that he would strive for all-round development of Nalgonda district in all spheres of activity to take it to the number one position in Telangana. The Congress government is committed to usher in a new era of growth and build a prosperous State.  
Temple Executive Officer Jaya Ramaiah, Brahmotsavam celebrations committee chairman Nagesh, main priest of the temple NagojuMallachary and Chilakamarri Sravan Kumar, endowments assistant commissioner Mahendra Kumar, endowments inspector Venkata Lakshmi and others were present on the occasion.
