Cong govt snatching farmlands, alleges Harish

Must read

Farmers opposing the Pharma City project gathered to stage a protest led by former minister and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao at Dappur village under Nyalkal mandal in Sangareddy district. MLA K Manik Rao, Chinta Prabhakar, DCMS Chairman Shivakumar, former Chairman Deviprasad, and others attended the event.
Harish Rao visited the farmers’ fields to assess their crops. The farmers made it clear to him that they were not at all inclined to give their lands to pharmaceutical companies. Harish assured them that he would stand by them until justice is done.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao went hammer and tongs at Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, stating that the poor are being burdened and their lands are being snatched away. He expressed his frustration that the governance under Revanth Reddy has turned into absurdity. He accused the Chief Minister of prioritising real estate business over the previously approved Pharma City project, questioning whether Revanth backed real estate.
Harish pointed out that Revanth promised to distribute land titles to assigned lands during the Warangal Declaration before the elections, but has now forgotten those promises. He also mentioned that the loan waiver benefit has yet to reached all the farmers and accused Revanth Reddy of deceiving the people, even going so far as to cheating the gods.
Harish demanded that Pharma companies be established in areas with stones and hills, arguing that the water here is pure like milk, and that Revanth Reddy is attempting to poison it under the guise of establishing pharmaceutical companies. He vowed to stand by farmers, stating that he would fight for justice.
He highlighted the developmental works carried out during the BRS government in the village, such as improving ponds and setting up substations, asserting that the Congress government is now attempting to seize their land. Harish emphasised that Dappur is known for its mint cultivation, and setting up a Pharma company on such fertile land is unjust.
