Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Ministers and Congress MLAs will be heading to Medigadda Barrage on Tuesday as the BRS decided to hold a public meeting in Nalgonda.
On Monday, Uttam Kumar Reddy extended an invitation to all MLAs in the Telangana Assembly to visit Medigadda Barrage.
The bus will start from the Assembly at 10 am and reach Medigadda Barrage, Mahadevpur Mandal and Jayashankar Bhupalpally district at 2 pm. The site visit is from 2 pm to 3 pm followed by a review with the Irrigation Department.
Around 4 pm there would be a media briefing and after that the team will leave by road at around 5 pm.
BRS MLAs will skip this visit. BJP MLAs also said that they wouldn’t be visiting the site.
State BJP President G. Kishan Reddy reportedly directed his party MLAs to skip the visit since Ministers and irrigation department officials have already visited the Medigadda Barrage and collected information.
Meanwhile, BRS Working President KT Rama Rao said, “In the Assembly Harish set the perfect tone for Chalo Nalgonda on Tuesday where KCR Garu will nail the lies of the Congress.”
The BRS meeting at Nalgonda will oppose the government handing over Krishna River projects.
After reviewing arrangements, BRS MLA Jagadish Reddy said, “Why the Chief Minister and ministers are not visiting Nagarjunasagar. Over five lakh people from Nalgonda, Mahboobnagar and Khammam districts are expected to attend the public meeting.”
It will be KCR’s first public appearance after losing elections
