Couple among 3 killed as car rams divider

In a tragic road accident, a young couple and their close relative were killed and their two children were critically injured when the car in which they were travelling rammed a road divider at Parvata Devarapalli village in Kanaganapalli mandal in Sri Satya Sai district on Saturday.

Police said that the deceased couple Gopinath and Ramya were software engineers working in Bangalore. When they were going to Hyderabad in a car, their vehicle rammed a road divider killing the couple and their close relative Tarakeswari (60) instantaneously. The couple belonged to Warangal in Telangana state.

Their two children Sahit and Hasini were injured in the mishap and they were admitted to the government hospital. SI Anjaneyulu registered a case and shifted the bodies to the GGH for post-mortem.
