A couple died and another was injured when a car rammed two motorcycles at the closed sugar factory on the Narsapur-Medak highway on Monday. The condition of the injured is stated to be critical.
The deceased was identified as G Navin Kumar (28) and Sujatha (26). The accident happened when the couple was on their way to Hyderabad on the motorcycle. The couple belonged to Shakapur village under Nizampet mandal.
The injured was identified as Karunakar.
He belonged to Pedda Chintakuna village under Narsapur mandal. The accident happened when he was returning to Narsaur from Hyderabad.
While Navin Kumar died on the spot, his wife Sujata died while undergoing treatment.
Karunakar, according to police, suffered life-threatening injuries.
