CPM politburo member BV Raghavulu has alleged that the administration has collapsed in Andhra Pradesh and the government is unable to provide basic amenities to the people. He called upon all opposition parties to be united to defeat the BJP at the Centre in the next elections.

Addressing a meeting, organised here on Friday to discuss the policies of the State and the Central governments and the present political situation, he said that the Centre tried to create hurdles when they wanted to organize a meeting on the G20 meeting and issues to be discussed by the government in the meeting.

Raghuvulu said that the G20 meeting should be used to avoid conflicts between the nations. He asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi who earned fame as ‘Viswa Guru’ whether he could not prevent catastrophes by carrying out negotiations with the world leaders.

He took exception to the raids on the media houses by the national agencies. When the Parliament sessions were being stalled, the BJP remained a mute spectator, he slammed. Alleging that destructive rule is continuing in some of the BJP-ruled states, he expressed concern about the law and order situation and the dwindling of communal harmony.

It is strange to see that the BJP party is not working even after asking the government by the court to conduct an inquiry by SEBI, he stated. The CPM leader underlined the need for the removal of the BJP government at the Centre.

The CPM senior leader expressed concern over the violence in Manipur and communal riots in Haryana. There is no communal harmony in the BJP regime, he slammed, alleging that the BJP is trying to distort History to mislead people.

Raghavulu also opposed the Common Civil Code which the BJP-led Centre is trying to implement. The IAS and IPS officers at the Centre are dancing to the tunes of the BJP-led government, he charged.

“The BJP-led Centre is trying to destroy the future of the farmers by fixing smart metres. If the country does not protect the Communists, the country will divide once again. All opposition parties should unite to defeat the BJP in the next elections,” he said and flayed that the BJP is misleading the people using social media. The YSRCP, JSP and TDP surrendered to the BJP and following their directions, he lashed out.
