Must read

The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) Telangana State Committee has called on the State government to pass a resolution in the Assembly demanding that the Central government cancel the NEET examination.
CPI-M state secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram said there are widespread protests across the country against the irregularities in the NEET entrance exam.
A total of 24 lakh students, who appeared for the exam, are a worried lot. Malpractices and leakages have become common in entrance exams for higher studies under the NDA regime. He also criticised the BJP government at the Centre for failing to conduct exams properly.
Veerabhadram stated that the Central government should allow state governments to manage medical admissions as was done in the past. The CPI-M supported the Tamil Nadu State government’s resolution demanding abolition of NEET. He urged the Telangana State government to pass a similar resolution in the Assembly, pressuring the Central government to allow state governments to conduct the exams.
