Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) district secretary Mudireddy Sudhakar Reddy on Thursday slammed the Central government for delaying to implement promises incorporated in Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. The CPI-M would launch agitation against the Centre demanding that it address the problems.
Addressing the 78th death anniversary of Doddi Komaraiah at the Doddi Komaraiah Bhavan here on Thursday, Sudhakar Reddy called upon the people to unitedly wage a fight against the Centre. The BJP government at the Centre should implement all the promises made to the people in Telangana. He expressed concern that the central government would curtail funds to the states unless pressure is exerted on it.  He said that the previous government did not allocate adequate funds for the completion of irrigation and drinking water projects in Nalgonda district in the upcoming budget session.
