In a move aimed at expediting the construction of the Bhogapuram International Green Field Airport, Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy visited the site on Monday and emphasised the importance of adhering to the project timeline.
Reddy conducted a comprehensive inspection of the ongoing construction activities, meticulously examining the progress of the terminal building, runway, air traffic control centre, and other critical infrastructure components. He further reviewed the airport’s blueprints during a meeting with representatives from GMR, who provided detailed insights into the construction methodologies.
Expressing satisfaction with the project’s progress to date, Reddy commended the efforts of all personnel involved. Accompanying the Chief Secretary during the inspection were District Joint Collector K. Karthik, RDO MV Suryakala, Tashildar Shyam Prasad, GMR International Airport Limited CEO Manomai Roy, Project Head BHA Ramaraj, and other relevant officials.
This focus on accelerated construction signifies a significant step forward in realizing the vision of Bhogapuram International Green Field Airport as a key hub for regional and international air travel.
