Minister for Road Transport, Dadisetti Raja, has ridiculed Pawan Kalyan’s recent announcement expressing his desire to become the Chief Minister of the State.
During a media interaction at Tuni on Saturday, he said that it is ultimately the people of the State who will determine Pawan Kalyan’s role, and his aspiration to become Chief Minister cannot be self-imposed. “The people of the State have already decided that Pawan Kalyan won’t even become an MLA. His ever-changing statements require psychiatric evaluation,” criticised Dadisetti Raja.
On Pawan Kalyan’s allegations regarding the lack of arrests in temple demolition cases, the Minister accused opposition party members of vandalising the temples. He also questioned Pawan Kalyan’s silence when temples were demolished during the previous TDP regime, highlighting that 45 temples were destroyed under Naidu’s leadership without any objections from Pawan Kalyan.
Recalling Pawan Kalyan’s earlier declaration of wanting to be elected as an MLA, the Minister pointed out that now he claims to aspire to be the Chief Minister. “Pawan Kalyan’s inconsistent remarks on caste and religion hold no substance,” the minister dismissed. He asked whether Pawan Kalyan has ever resided in the capital city of Amaravati.
