Defeating YSRCP imperative: Pawan

Must read

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan emphasised the necessity of defeating YSRCP for the progress of Andhra Pradesh, expressing confidence in the NDA’s potential to form the government in the state.
Speaking at the ‘Prajagalam’ public meeting in Boppudi, near here, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and TDP national president Chandrababu Naidu were in attendance, Kalyan remarked that Modi’s visit to the state for the meeting brings a sense of relief to a region burdened with significant debt and lacking development.
Addressing the massive gathering, comprised of a record number of people from across the state, Kalyan expressed delight at the alliance of the TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena, stating that the unity of these three parties resonates with the sentiment of all five crore residents of the state.
Reflecting on the alliance formed in 2014 in the revered pilgrim town of Tirupati, Kalyan highlighted that this renewed collaboration in 2024 is similarly blessed, invoking the spirit of Goddess Kanakadurga. “I extend a warm welcome to Modi, poised to achieve a historic third term, whose presence here instils hope in the people that Amaravati will flourish once more,” he asserted.
Describing Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy as a liquor tycoon, Kalyan accused him of failing to account for Rs 10,000 crore in GST and alleged that through JP Ventures, a front for Reddy, he illicitly amassed Rs 40,000 crore.
Despite the state’s business transactions reaching Rs 1.20 lakh crore, Kalyan claimed that the Chief Minister falsely represented it as a mere Rs 84 crore, thus pocketing a substantial amount. “Jagan Mohan Reddy’s primary agenda is personal enrichment, not state development,” he criticized.
Expressing regret over the absence of new industries under Jagan’s tenure and the relocation of existing ones due to intolerable harassment, Kalyan lamented the state’s industrial growth plummeting from 10.4 per cent in 2014 to -3 per cent currently.
Asserting that Jagan believes his wealth affords him impunity, Kalyan contrasted this with Modi’s commitment to establishing good governance akin to Rama Rajya.
