The BJP-led Central Government is not sparing even Chief Ministers who support BRS President Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in fighting the BJP. The CBI naming AAP supremo Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in its latest charge sheet in the Delhi liquor scam has surprised political circles.
All these days there were speculations about the involvement of politicians in the Delhi liquor scam. But nobody mentioned the name of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. It is interesting to note that the CBI filed its latest charge sheet naming Arvind Kejriwal after the first meeting of the BRS held at Khammam.Kejriwal and some other Chief Ministers and opposition leaders attended this BRS meeting.
The CBI mentioning the name of BRS MLC Kavitha, the daughter of KCR, in the latest charge sheet also did not surprise anyone. But along with Kavitha the mentioning of Kejriwal surprised many.
Political circles think that this is due to Kejriwal attending the Khammam BRS meeting. There is an opinion in political circles that the Centre is using its investigation agencies against opposition leaders who oppose the BJP.
The BJP treats the BRS President K. Chandrasekhar Rao as its number one enemy. Of late, the bitter hostility between the BRS and the BJP has scaled new heights.KCR entered national politics to prevent the BJP from coming to power in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. For this, KCR is trying to unite all anti-BJP forces. KCR invited the Chief Ministers of Kerala, Punjab and Delhi along other some other leaders to the BRS Khammam meeting.
Political observers think that the Centre is trying to frighten opposition leaders who support KCR. Delhi CM Kejriwal’s name was mentioned in the CBI’s charge sheet in the Delhi liquor scam after he attended the Khammam BRS meeting as part of this tactic.
