After NSUI and the Youth Congress, the Mahila Congress activists tried to lay siege to the State BJP office demanding the Central government to cancel the NEET examination immediately. However, the police obstructed the Mahila Congress activists. Jostling took place for some time between the Congress activists and the police.
Speaking on the occasion, the Telangana Mahila Congress president Sunitha Rao demanded the Central government to initiate steps with regard to the irregularities that took place in NEET examination and do justice to the NEET aspirants. She demanded the Central government to do justice to 24 lakh students. She lashed out at the BJP, cursing that the people would bury the BJP like the people buried the BRS in regard to TSPSC irregularities.
Sunitha Rao said that the INDI Alliance would come to power and do justice to the students. She alleged that eight MPs were elected from the BJP in Telangana State. However, they were afraid of speaking to Prime Minister Narendra Modi with regard to the NEET paper leakage issue. She said that it is an insult to the Congress as Union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy had not given an appointment.
She warned the BJP-led Centre that the Mahila Congress will lay siege to Parliament in case the Centre failed to do justice with regard to NEET.
