PNS|Tirumala
The beauty of Tirumala was enhanced with the advent of fog, mist, torrents, and waterfalls everywhere all along the first and second ghat roads besides the interiors of Seshachala ranges, etc. due to the continuous rains in the Hill Town for the past two days.
Throughout the 15-km second ghat road, streams of water are seen emerging from the hilly rocks, which enhanced the beauty of Tirumala hills. It’s been a rare spectacle for the passersby as water streams on the second ghat road occur only when there is an unprecedented downpour.
The devotees especially the pedestrian pilgrims who trek the footpath routes, are seen enjoying every moment, capturing the beauties of nature on their cell phones, cameras, etc. Pilgrims who usually rush to reach Tirumala to have the darshan of Lord, choose to drive their vehicles at a slow pace to enjoy “Never Seen Before”, beauties of Seshachala Ranges.
The streams gushing out at Akkagarla Gudi, 38, 37, 26, 21 turns in the down ghat roads provided a feast to the devotees.
On the other hand, the fog and mist wrapped the entire ghat road and various places in Tirumala, providing a different look to visiting pilgrims who cherished the rare moments.
Apart from Malavadi Gundem and Kapila Teertham waterfalls, several others are also seen emerging from the rocky structures of Seshachala Ranges. The check dams are also seen overflowing down ghat road.
Meanwhile, Tirumala registered nearly 210 mm of rainfall following the effect of the Mandous Cyclone. All five dams, viz. Gogarbham, Papavinasanam, Akasaganga, Kumaradhara and Pasupudhara are full to their capacities.
