Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao has made a controversial statement saying that the Amaravati farmers quit their Amaravati to Arasavalli ‘padayatra’ in the middle and fled to Delhi.
Talking to the media here on Friday, he said that when the High Court asked those who were taking part in the ‘padayatra’ to produce their Aadhaar cards, they stopped their ‘padayatra’ in the middle.
Taking a dig at TDP chief and former CM N Chandrababu Naidu, the Revenue minister said that Naidu was moving to north AP but he wanted Amaravati as the Capital city.
Unable to digest the implementation of welfare schemes for the poor, Naidu has launched the ‘Badude Badudu’ programme,” he slammed.
