DIL SE : Expressing myself through my debut EP, Love Like That

I think it has been a long time since I have been wanting to put on music that represents what I like and who I am, and it is a tough thing because I am so diverse as a person and my influences are so diverse that it was a hard decision to plan the style in which my music would be made and released. But I think after a few years of curating and after meeting lots of people and listening to a lot of music, I was able to pick a style that I fell in love with and that made the most sense to me. I also followed something that would be fresh. It’s really important for me to put on music that doesn’t really sound like the other music that’s out there. I want to give people something new and fresh because I do feel that I am new and fresh. As an artiste, my experience is unique, and I want my unique experiences to reflect in my music. My music should also be unique.
