Dimple Hayathi has signed a new film. After a two-year gap, the actress will be seen in a project starring Sharwanand, directed by Sampath Nandi. Anupama Parameshwaran had already been signed as the female lead and now Dimple Hayathi is also part of the cast. The film is a period drama, and shooting is set to begin soon. Sampath Nandi, returning to direction after a gap, has based the film on real incidents while taking cinematic liberties to add fictional elements.
Dimple Hayathi, a Telugu girl, has previously worked in films like Khiladi and Ramabanam, but had not signed any project in the last two years. She was in the news a couple of years ago for damaging a police car, resulting in a police case. Dimple made her debut with Gulf at a young age and later appeared in the Tamil film Devi, which was released in Telugu as Abhinetri.
She also featured in a special song in Gaddalakonda Ganesh opposite Varun Tej, which became popular and earned her wider recognition. Interestingly, she was initially supposed to play the female lead in that film but had to opt out due to other commitments. The project she signed was shelved after completing 80% of the shoot. Director Harish Shankar, upon learning this, offered her a special appearance in the song.
