Dismissal of Gurukula lecturers condemned

Reacting over the firing of part-time employees in the Telangana welfare gurukula schools, former minister T Harish Rao strongly condemned the government’s ruthless dismissal of 6,200 part-time lecturers and teachers working in social welfare schools across the tate on Wednesday. Harish Rao said, “Simultaneous dismissal of 6,200 part-time teachers, lecturers and DEOs (DEOs) working in social welfare schools is an ill-advised move. Salaries are not paid for three months and they are fired for asking. Is this your public governance? Is this the kingdom of Indiramma you mentioned? The teachers were fired in the middle of the school year, leaving their families in deep grief. On the other hand, your careless and senseless decision has put the future of thousands of students in question. On behalf of the BRS, we demand the government to reinstate the fired part-time lecturers, teachers and DEOs immediately and pay the pending salaries of three months immediately.” RS Praveen Kumar, a BRS leader said, “During the tenure of KCR, fair Gurukula education was provided at the international level.
