disqualification petitions BRS asks Assembly Secy to act on HC order

BRS MLAs formally submitted a petition to the Telangana Legislative Assembly Secretary, urging swift action to implement the High Court order about disqualification petitions.
KP Vivekanand and Padi Kaushik Reddy submitted a letter dated  September 10, 2024, to the Assembly Secretary. Vivekanand called for immediate steps to bring the petitions before the Speaker for adjudication. The petitions, filed earlier this year by Vivekanand on April 2 and April 8, were aimed at disqualifying legislators Venkat Rao Tellam and Kadiyam Srihari. However, the Speaker had not taken action on these disqualification petitions, forcing Vivekanand to approach the High Court through WP No. 11098 of 2024.
